Clinical trial with ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ metra wins Medawar Medal at BTS conference
Preliminary results from the NAPLES trial (Normothermic mAchine Perfusion of the Liver to Enable transplantation in difficult recipientS) with the ΒιΒι΄«Γ½ metra were presented for the first time at the British Transplant Society meeting in Belfast last week.
We are delighted to announce that the presentation won the Medawar Medal for best clinical paper. Congratulations to Siobhan McKay, Thamara Perera and the Birmingham, UK transplant team for this important research.
